I took my camera to the circus tonight and I must say I was not happy. We didn’t get the usual performance where you can’t decide which ring to be watching because they are all so good. We got a little one ring circus. But the cost of our tickets was as if it was a 3 ring. We got to see one elephant (pictured above), two dogs catching frisbee’s, some jump ropers, two clowns (yes I said two, and no they did not get out of a tiny car either), and a couple horses. Yes they had a small trapese show and the tight rope. Boy was I dissappointed. This was our oldest first circus and even she fell asleep half way through the show. Had I known this is what it would be, we probably would have skipped it. We look forward to taking our kiddos to these types of events and watching their faces glow. This year, we watched yawns. All she could ask on the way home was where is the tiger? Where was the zebra? We had researched some on the internet so she knew what to expect. And of course I failed at that. Oh well.

Let it snow! Ohhow I miss the snow. But only for a day. Being born and raised a Yankee, i’m used to it. But after being a southerner for 6 years, you begin to miss those things when you don’t see them in so long. It snows here once in a great while. And the whole city shuts down for a dusting. Yes it’s crazy. I know, but it’s true. Bread and Milk is sold out. Batteries and candles are stocked up. If your a northerner used to the snow, we all know all we need is a case of beer and you stick it in the snow to keep cold.

So now it is about 4 hours or so after I have taken these photos and what do you know? Everything is melting. They don’t realize that here. Still gotta stock up on bread, milk, batteries, and candles. lol I have to live with this way of living now that I have transformed into a southern belle put nicely. Redneck put frankly. lol

If not, the will have to take a different approach to a treatment. What a weekend this has turned out to be!

This is as good as it gets for Day 21. After I took the shots of last night’s fire, we went to bed because the hubby had something in his eye bothering him. Got woken up at 4 am by him because he was in so much pain from whatever got him in his eye. Thus begain our search for a Hospital in middle of nowhere. We found one and 2 1/2 hours later we were back at camp with a corneal abrasion. One of our reasons for camping was to go to the shooting range to test out the hubby’s new 22 rifle. We weren’t about to leave without shooting it a few times. So I took this one and only shot of him using his one functioning eye.

Rise and shine! Every night it never fails. Sabrina makes her way to are bed in the middle of the night. She so kind as to wake us up when the sunshine "wakes up" as well. This particular morning, she didn’t wake up with the sunshine. So I decided to wake her up and give her a taste of her own medicine. lol. Call me a mean momma, but it was all in fun. I wanted to capture this shot and I succeeded. Besides, we had to get ready for the day.

And then I work my way into Olivia’s room to be greated by this sweet face that was so happy to see me. But of course I didn’t get to wake her up. She was already awake, quiet as can be until mommy got there. lol
